AFCI Protection

• Detects arcing faults that can cause fires
• Required in many residential circuits per NEC 210
• Provided by the breaker—not software

GFCI Protection

• Protects against shock hazards
• Required for bathrooms, kitchens, outdoors, garages, and similar locations
• Implemented through GFCI or dual-function breakers

Important Notes

• Kora does not replace AFCI or GFCI breakers
• Breakers must be installed and wired per manufacturer instructions
