My Battery Isn’t Charging or Discharging Correctly

Normal Reasons for This Behavior

  • Battery reserve level has been reached

  • Time-of-Use rules are preventing discharge

  • Grid prices are low

  • Battery temperature protection is active


What to Check in the App

  1. Go to Energy → Battery.

  2. Review:

    • State of charge

    • Reserve setting

    • Current mode (Charging, Idle, Backup)


Try This

  • Lower or raise your backup reserve (temporarily)

  • Check Time-of-Use schedules

  • Ensure the system is not in outage mode


Contact Support If

  • Battery never charges despite solar/grid availability

  • Battery never discharges during outages

  • App shows repeated battery errors
