What Happens During an Outage

  1. Kora detects loss of grid power.

  2. The system isolates your home from the grid.

  3. Power is supplied by batteries (and solar, if available).

  4. Circuit priorities are enforced automatically.

What You’ll See in the App

  • Backup mode status

  • Remaining runtime estimate

  • Active vs. shed circuits

While on Backup

  • Critical circuits stay powered longest

  • Non-essential loads may turn off automatically

  • You can still manually control circuits

When the Grid Returns

Kora reconnects automatically and restores normal operation.
